Biography of Dr. KrisBhat,M.D

Dr. Kris Bhat received post graduate training in internal medicine followed by pathology residency at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, residency in pediatrics at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis and Tulane University in New Orleans .

He underwent Allergy and Immunology and Ped. Pulmonology fellowship at Louisiana State University followed by a fellowship in Ped. Pulmonology at Indiana State University with American Lung Association. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatrics, American Board of Allergy and Immunology, which is a conjoint board of American Board of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

He is board eligible with the American Board of Sleep Medicine He is a fellow of American College of Allergists, Am. Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, Am. College of Chest Physicians, Am. Thoracic Society. He is a member of American Association of Sleep Medicine.

He is the Medical Director of Sleep Diagnostic Center in Beaumont since 1996 an he has been involved with sleep studies at St. Elizabeth Hosp in Bmt since 1982. Sleep Diagnostic center has bee accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in Beaumont and Humble. Dr. Bhat has extensive clinical and Laboratory experience in sleep medicine.
