Narcolepsy
Prevalence rate of 5 per 100,000 population.
Classical symptoms are:
Excessive sleepiness
SleepParalysis (upon waking)
Low concentration
Hypnogogic hallucinations
Cataplexy (physical weakness with emotion)
Occupational/School problems
Automatic Behavior
The symptoms may develop slowly over the years or appear rapidly.
MSLT is less than 5 min.
